Collection: LOVE FOR JACK <3

This artwork is an illustration featuring Lance Corporal Jack Fitzgibbon.

Jack Fitzgibbon was a dedicated high skilled soldier. Jack suffered critical injuries during special forces training at RAAF Base Richmond on 6th March 2024.

Jack was a much loved and respected soldier within the Second Commando Regiment, which is part of the Special Operations Command. He was admired for his courage, modesty and his service to the country.

Jack was universally loved by his family and friends. He was unapologetically authentic, a loyal friend, he had an infectious sense of humour. Always the life of the party, he loved a beer, the footy and his mates!

The impact of losing Jack has been widespread and he has left a honourable legacy. In honour of Jack and to raise awareness of the Commando Welfare Trust a team of 150 friends and family are running 14km in the City 2 Surf… “14 for Fitz”.

United in grief Jack’s family and friends are putting one foot in front of the other, step by step, one day at a time. In doing so they are hoping to fundraise $50,000 to help Commando Welfare Trust.

The Commando Welfare Trust provides a perpetual safety net for Special Operations Command (SOCOMD) soldiers, veterans and family members.

This illustration represents Jack running the City 2 Surf with come iconic details unique to him!
